Matchmaker Band Singer Spotlight: Meet Reese
Updated: Jul 22
Matchmaker Band takes pride in having the absolute best vocalists in the state of Texas on our team. Every member of the band makes the band special - from the four front-line singers every night all the way to our phenomenal lighting directors and sound techs behind the scenes. But we know you and your guests will be watching our singers more than anyone else in the band. They get to share the most special moments of your night with you, connecting with you and your guests in a multitude of ways. They sing your special first dance song, they bring you up on stage, they do the “Proud Mary” dance with your bridesmaids, they start a soul train with your grandpa, they bring your brothers up to karaoke “Uptown Funk.” The entire band makes the magic, but the majority of your memories will, without a doubt, be with our singers. So, let’s help you get to know them a little bit better.
Meet Reese. Reese has been singing with Matchmaker Band for over five years! Hailing from Somerville, TX, Reese had just graduated from Huston-Tillotsun University when we first heard him sing. We just knew he had to be in Matchmaker Band. His vocal range is rivaled by none. His classical training gives him a vocal precision that is smooth, but still all his own. And we aren’t the only ones who noticed his vocal gifts. Right before joining Matchmaker Band, Reese had the opportunity to sing back-up for one of the queens of Motown, Diana Ross, when she performed at ACL.
